This 2 day introductory course will be held on February 27th & 28th in Newark, Delaware. Students will learn the skills and knowledge to use Civil 3D efficiently as a drafting and modeling tool. Subjects covered include working with point data, creating and analyzing a surface, developing a site, modeling roads, corridors, pipe networks, and importing/exporting data.

James A. Wedding, P.E.

James spent nearly a decade in the Dallas/Fort Worth land development industry. A graduate of TexasTech with a BSCE in 1997, he worked as a design engineer focused on private development. During his time in industry, he designed small commercial to multi-phase single family and master planned communities. His focus was primarily hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. James has served as President of the Preston Trail Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and was selected their Young Engineer of the Year in 2003. As one of the earliest Gunslingers for the Civil 3D product, James has worked extensively with the Autodesk product team to shape and guide the software's development. A highly-rated repeat presenter at Autodesk University and a presenter on the Friday Civil 3D webcasts, James continues to be one of the most respected instructors and consultants in the Civil Engineering community.
